When you select the "Sample Database" Smart Button the above message box displays. It tells you that all must exit from Exhibitor's Assistant before you can continue. Continuing will close your database, and this can't be done if any other user is using it.
Exhibitor's Assistant comes with two separate databases, your database (which is empty when you first install the program) and a Sample Database. The purpose of the Sample Database is just that. . . to provide you with a sample so you can better see how to use the various components of the program. When you click the "Yes" button in the above message box, the program switches from your database to the Sample Database. When you have switched to the Sample Database, the Master Choices Menu changes so that the "Sample Database" Smart Button now reads "Your Database" as shown below.
When you're finished looking at the Sample Database and ready to return to your database, click the "Your Database" Smart Button (above). When you do you will see another message box, as shown below. This is the reverse of the above-described process. The Sample Database must close before your database can be opened. When you click the "Yes" button in the message box below, the Sample Database closes, your database opens and the Master Choices Menu again changes so the database Smart Button reads "Sample Database."
